In charge of the commercial affairs (search for suppliers in Taiwan):

  • Reception of the French and foreign requests, comprehension of the customer’s expectations and requirements, fixing of a tariff for the service, search for potential suppliers, contact and collection of information, analysis and filtering according to the customer’s criterions, delivery of the results and follow-up

  • For the first time, I had to deal with Chinese companies and to visit some of them following the degree of investigation negotiated with the customer. I worked in total autonomy (price, mode of research, time…). About fifteen cases have been solved

Studied the potentiality to integrate an E-solution in the buying process and was responsible of its development:

  • Analysed the internal and external situation (electronic solutions available on the market, flux of materials and information, expectations of the internal customers, needs, potential gains, resistance to change), proposed a costs-reducing solution and developed business with a new supplier.
  • I identified key issues, improved considerably my written and oral communication (reports and presentations), moved the purchasing department forward to e-tools and had ability to work with different kind of people (tact and persuasiveness)
